this was made for scream jam 2023. i started using godot a few months ago and this is my first completed 3d game. i did all of the art except for the sound effects and muzak. sounds are from freesound.org and most have been modified to loop or have been altered, all CC0. muzak is from the internet archive, public domain mall music that i modified a bit. feedback is appreciated. no generative images, sounds or writing were used in making this

Your game starts at 00:35. This was a great game! The character designs were excellent and making them different colors added to their personalities. The story was intriguing and telling it through the ghosts was very well done. Our only issue was we couldn't get the game to display in full screen and had to settle on a small window. The mall as a ghost prison was a fantastic choice for a setting. Looking forward to your next project!

the full screen thing was so disappointing for me! right at the end i realized i had been testing the thing in windowed mode the whole time, and when i tested it in fullscreen literally the entire ui broke. it was too late to adjust it without possibly introducing more problems so i had to settle on forcing windowed. that said i'm super glad you like it! hopefully i'll have another project here soon!
