Additional info:

Attacking or dodging uses a quarter of the blue bar at the bottom. Below the blue bar is your ammo count, when it's out fire again to start the reload. During reload you don't get any of your bar back and it cannot be interrupted so be careful with it. I recommend letting the bar fill a little before starting the reload. The game is hard, don't eat the key lime pies unless you're leaving the floor or low on health. They heal you and give you higher max health. Picking up shells for your pistol (it was originally going to be a shotgun) refills your ammo without having to reload and gives you an extra shot. Level 3 is really difficult but I believe in you.
